Mansfield, Mass. - With six weekly awards to her name, senior Kambel Fiser has been named the 2024 Northeast-10 Setter of the Year, announced by the league office on Wednesday. 

Fiser is one of six names to be recognized this season by the league and is joined by Macarty McQueen on the First Team. The Washington state native is a six-time NE10 Setter of the Week this season, leading the entire conference in total assists and assists per set - which is at a margin of over 2.0 assists more than the next athlete on the leaderboard. 

McQueen ranks in the top-five in the conference for total kills, totaling 290 this season while also posting the fourth best kills per set number at just under three (2.93). 

Noelle Alberda is the lone representative on the Second Team, as the senior repeats from a season ago with the honor. Three different Panthers appear on the Third Team, in Emilia Cascapera, Delaney Kiendra and Jaydin Nowak. 

Alberda, also hailing from Washington, ranks second on the team in kills (258) and block assists (48), heading into the NE10 semifinals this Friday. 

The first year Cascapera was also recognized on the All-Rookie team for her efforts ranking third for the Panthers in kills (245). She earned NE10 Rookie of the Week honors on two separate occasions. 

Kiendra and Nowak both pick up their first All-Conference selections in 2024. The former has averaged 2.28 in 78 sets played while Nowak sits second in the NE10 with 513 digs at 4.84 digs per set. She reached the 1,000-dig career milestone this season while adding 85 assists and 35 service aces. 

Adelphi will take on the top-seed for the NE10 tournament in American International College on Friday, November 22. Game time is set for 5:00 p.m. inside Butova Gymnasium.
