Garden City, N.Y. - As the calendar turns to October, the Adelphi University volleyball coaching staff is pleased to announce several upcoming dates for instruction taking place in the next two months.

The 'Cats will entertain a younger crowd with several youth clinics (grades 5-9) at the CRS on Sunday October 13, 20 and 27 for those looking to enhance their skills - all dates will be 60 minute sessions from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Led by Assistant Coach Brenna Valsted, each date is limited to the first 25 individuals that email her to register. 

Head Coach Danielle MacKnight's squad is also inviting all interested high school players to their Fall Prospect Day on Sunday, Nov. 17 at the Center for Recreation and Sports from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Interested participants can register using the link above.

Each clinic will highlight skill instruction, and offer the opportunity to work with current Adelphi coaches and student-athletes.

The longest active head coach in Adelphi's history, MacKnight has accumulated over 300 wins in her near 20-year tenure as head coach. Her unparalleled resume includes three NE10 Championships and fourteen NCAA Tournament appearances, as well as an over-.650 winning percentage that ranks among the Top 50 active career volleyball coaching leaders in Division II.

Admission for the prospect day clinic is $75; October clinics are $30 each and can be paid with cash or check. Any individuals wishing to register must do so beforehand and have their signed medical waivers in hand at check-in.
