Watertown, Conn. - In their last Division II tournament in the fall season, the Adelphi University golf team took home a seventh place finish at the Post Invitational, held at Watertown Golf Club.
This was the lowest finish for the Brown and Gold during the fall season, not going lower than fourth prior to their fifth tournament of 2024-25. St. Thomas Aquina's took home the team championship, with the 'Cats coming 10 strokes behind host Post University with a two-day score of 83-over 935.
Newcomer
Mitchell Archer scored the lowest of his teammates, finishing in 12th after going 13-over 226. The freshman didn't shoot over five-over in any of the three rounds.
Johnny Solari was tied for the best opening round score on the team after tallying a three-over alongside
Mason Rivera. Solari would finish 22nd while Rivera took home 48th.
Francis Lanuza stayed consistent as well, slotting in at 24th, putting up three birdies on his final round.
Alec Ramos rounded out the Panther scorecard with a total score of 34-over 248.

David Mattana and Adelphi will finish out their fall schedule this weekend starting on Saturday, October 19 in the Farmingdale Tournament. Farmingdale State College will host from Bethpage Blue Golf Course in Farmingdale, N.Y..
