Mansfield, Mass. - After suffering back-to-back losses to close out the regular season, the Adelphi University men's lacrosse program has earned the three-seed, ahead of the 2023 Northeast-10 Conference tournament, slated to begin Saturday.
Le Moyne earned the top spot outright after defeating the Panthers on Tuesday to remain undefeated for the first time since the 2021 season. This season the Dolphins had the lowest goals against average at just 7.29 opponent goals per game.
Bentley (9-4, 8-2 NE10) and Adelphi (14-2, 8-2 NE10) finished the regular season, but the Falcons secured the No. 2 seed due to a head-to-head win over the Panthers over the weekend. Adelphi earned the No. 3 seed heading into the 2023 tournament. Pace (11-3, 7-3) and Saint Anselm (8-3, 7-3 NE10) ended with even conference records, but Pace earned the No. 4 seed and Saint Anselm the No. 5 seed after the Setters defeated the Hawks 10-9 last week. Southern New Hampshire earned the No. 6 to round out the championship field.
