Game Recap: Men's Lacrosse |

#5 Men's Lacrosse Rolls to Seventh Straight, Ousts #8 Saint A's, 11-4

Manchester, NH - On the back of a huge scoring day for Logan Tucker, the no. 5 Adelphi University Panthers got the win in their first Northeast-10 road game at no. 8 Saint Anselm, prevailing 11-4.

The visitors struck first thanks to Jason Rebaudo, but the Hawks controlled the first half outshooting the Panthers on goal 11-7 and leading at the halftime break by two tallies.

The third quarter saw a surge in offense from the road team, as they scored five unanswered goals including three in a 2:05 stretch. That scoring run included three from Tucker to up his total tally to four on the day. They outshot the home squad on-goal 5-3 and Dylan Renner notched two saves between the pipes. A goal from Saint Anselm's Jack Robinson halted the momentum and left Adelphi up three goals going into the last period of play.

The closing stretch saw more of the same second-half story, as the Panthers scored another four unanswered including Tucker's fifth, giving the visitors the win by a final score of 11-4.

Adelphi will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to the College of Saint Rose for opening faceoff at 4:00 p.m..
