Indianapolis, Ind. - The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Committee has announced the participants for the 2022 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships, of which junior
Katherine Marsh has been selected as an at-large selection.
In total, thirty-four teams were selected to participate in each championship. The top three, seven-person teams automatically qualified from each of the eight regions, for a total of 24 teams, which included Southern New Hampshire, Roberts Wesleyan and Daemen out of the East Region.
Marsh was the third individual finisher at the 2022 East Region Championship on Saturday, hosted by Adelphi University on its home course, Bethpage Polo at the Park. She placed ninth overall, running 22:41.2 for her best collegiate 6K mark. She came in behind Fransiscah Cherotich and Jane Harrington from American International and Saint Anselm College, respectively.
The championships will be held Dec. 2 at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place, WA as part of the Division II Festival. The women's race will follow the men's 1:00 p.m. (EST) race at 2:15 p.m..
