Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University volleyball team stretched its win streak to three on Monday evening, after topping Caldwell University, 3-0, inside the Center for Recreation and Sports.
In just over 10 years since their last meeting, the Panthers (9-8) never trailed by more than one and weren't in a deficit after the opening three points in any set. Adelphi managed to extend its lead early in each of the three frames to keep the Cougars (4-11) at bay in the non-conference meeting.

Brenna Valsted split duties with
Kambel Fiser as the pair each chipped in 15 assists in the victory.
Lilyen McCarthy posted a perfect evening with nine kills and zero errors with a .563 hitting percentage to boot.
Jamie Yonker and
Macarty McQueen were the lone defenders in double-digit digs, accounting for 11 and 12, respectively.
The Panthers continue their non-conference stretch with a visit to Dominican University on Thursday, before returning home this weekend to host Le Moyne College on Saturday, Oct. 8.
