Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's basketball team held on to its slim one-point lead in the remaining seconds of the game to secure a 63-60 win over Northeast-10 Conference foe Saint Anselm College on Saturday afternoon at the Center for Recreation and Sport.

Emily Miccile dove for an inbound pass made by the visiting Hawks (8-6, 4-3 NE10) with two seconds left in regulation to protect the 61-60 advantage.

The Panthers (5-8, 3-5 NE10) were led offensively by Rebecca Lee's career-high 16-point performance. Lee went off in the second half for 10 points and grabbed four rebounds. Freshman guard Kaitlin O'Connell added 13 points off the bench with three treys.
