Mansfield, Mass. - Ahead of the Northeast-10 Conference quarterfinals, 11 members of the Adelphi men's lacrosse program have earned inclusion to the NE10 All-Conference teams, as announced by the league office on Thursday.
All Adelphi players recognized on this year's First Team have previously been named to this list in their careers;
Nicolas Racalbuto,
John Arcidiacono,
Sean McGovern and
Justin Napolitano double up with first team accolades after also earning inclusion on the Second Team and All-Rookie squads in their time as Panthers.
Racalbuto lands in the top-10 in the league in goals this year after scoring 21 through the regular season, also ranking in overall shots and shots on goal. He will likely finish his career second all time in the D2 era for Adelphi in goals while also holding other single season records to boot. On the defensive side of things, McGovern ranks 10th in the league for caused turnovers, averaging nearly two per contest this season alone. Napolitano is second on the team in ground balls and caused turnovers with a few All-American nods in his time in a Panther uniform.
Newcomers
Joseph Duchnowski and
Lawrence Galizia appear on the Second Team this season, joining
Edward Perlstein for their first NE10 nods.
James Hall and
Gordon Purdie, Jr. appear on the Third Team this season, at attack and midfield, respectively and the team rounds out the honors with two on the All-rookie roster in
Jack Hipchen and
Luke Lombardi.
