Garden City, N.Y. - On Friday, Adelphi University Head Men's Soccer Coach Gary Book announced the team's signing class for the 2020 season -- a group that features 10 promising and decorated newcomers.

The newest crop of Panthers is comprised of six international students -- three of whom are from Argentina -- and four local products. By position, the class consists of three defenders, three midfielders and two forwards, as well as two players that can rotate between the midfield and forward spots.

"We are elated to welcome the 2020 recruiting class to Adelphi. They have been a wonderful group to get to know during the recruiting process and we are excited to work with them on the field in the fall," Book said. "They have all had highly successful careers to-date and we fully expect that they will compete for playing time with our outstanding squad, immediately."

Book also complimented his assistant coach, Tom Bowen, stating: "A tremendous thanks to Tom for his astute insights and diligent work throughout the recruiting process."
