Oceanside, N.Y. - The Adelphi University men's tennis team dropped its third straight 7-0 decision on Sunday afternoon, falling to the Pride of Hofstra University at Point Set Indoor Racquet Club.
Hofstra (6-3) swept all six singles flights and three doubles flights in the win, as the Pride surrendered just five games in three doubles flights to clinch the first point of the afternoon, and also swept all the singles matches in straight sets.
The tightest match for the Panthers (0-4) came at No.3, as
David Robres de Veciana battled against Coco Haener to force a first-set tiebreak, but eventually fell 7-6(5), 6-3.

Adelphi will next search for its first win of the season against ASA College on March 16 at 1 p.m.
