Ludlow, Mass. - The Adelphi University women's tennis team rolled to a 6-1 win against American International College at the Ludlow Tennis Club on Wednesday afternoon.
The Panthers (2-0, 1-0 NE10) dropped just eight total games across seven completed matches to earn victory in their league opener. The three-time defending league champions were paced by a perfect afternoon for
Karen Serina and
Nicole Stay, who did not drop a game across singles or doubles in the win.
The Panthers will take a break from dual league action to compete in the ITA East Regional Championships this weekend at the USTAÂ Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, home of the US Open.
