Mansfield, Mass. - The Adelphi University athletic department once again led the way in the classroom over the spring semester in the Northeast-10 Conference, as the league's Commissioner's Honor Roll for the recently-completed semester was released on Wednesday.
Adelphi had the highest percentage of student-athletes earn at least a 3.0 GPA this past spring, ranking the department as the league-leader in that category for the fifth time in the past six semesters. In total, 285 of the 356 Adelphi student-athletes (80.1%) were named to the honor roll, and Adelphi also led the NE10 in student-athletes registering a 4.0.
Overall, 33 Panthers achieved that benchmark this past semester.
"Our student-athletes continue to succeed at extremely high levels in the classroom, and once again, I am so proud of their accomplishments." said NE10 Commissioner Julie Ruppert. "Our membership's commitment to academic success is unparalleled nationally, and this release proves that once again."
