Saint Rose was kept quiet through the second quarter however, as the home team managed to run up the score with three unanswered goals to maintain a 6-1 advantage at halftime.
About middway through the third the Golden Knights found a way past McDougal, but the host offense added two after that to keep their opponent at bay.
