Top Three Lead Women's Tennis to 4-3 Win at New Haven

West Haven, Conn. - A combined 5-0 after for its three top singles players led the Adelphi University women's tennis team to a 4-3 Northeast-10 Conference win at the University of New Haven on Tuesday afternoon.

The Panthers swept both doubles matches by identical 6-3 sets, but it was the efforts of Samantha Perri, Nicole Kielan and Nicole Stay at the first through third flights in singles which ultimately sealed the match for Adelphi.

Perri posted her second straight win at No.1 singles with a 6-2, 6-3 win over New Haven graduate student Laura Fermosel, while Kielan followed with a 6-4, 6-3 win over 2017 NE10 Rookie of the Year Stephanie Gonzalez in a clash of two of the league's best sophomores.
