Easton, Mass. – Despite having a substantial shot differential, the Adelphi University women's soccer team was unable to connect on a score at Stonehill earlier today leading to a scoreless double overtime draw in Northeast-10 Conference play.
The Panthers (5-2-1/3-0-1 NE-10) finished the contest with a 16-2 advantage in shot that included a 5-1 favorable difference during the first overtime. The Brown and Gold was also able to manufacture six corner kicks while yielding only two to the Skyhawks (2-4-2/1-2-1 NE-10).
Brianna Doran came off the bench for Adelphi to take four shots and put three on target, however, Jamie Block was the story for Stonehill as the goalkeeper made eight saves.
Samantha Lanza,
Kelsey Malles, and
Laura Gomez all took two shots each with Lanza and Malles putting an attempt on-goal.
Anne Marie Ulliac was not forced to make a save on the afternoon as the defensive unit of
Taylor Salmon,

Kelsey Simpson kept the Skyhawks in front of the keeper.
Looking ahead, the Panthers return to Motamed Field this Wednesday to welcome Merrimack for a 7:00 pm contest.
