Box Score Rindge, NH – Host Franklin Pierce scored once in each half on the way to a 2-0 Northeast-10 Conference win against the Adelphi University women's soccer team earlier this afternoon.
The Ravens (5-3-1/3-3-1 NE-10) were led by two goals from Talita Pereira. In the first half, Franklin Pierce controlled a 7-1 shot advantage that led to Pereira's first goal in the 42nd minute. Gabriela Vieira took the initial shot that was blocked before Pereira inside the right post for the opening goal.
A closer second half in terms of shot resulted in the Ravens outshooting the Panthers (6-2-1/3-2-1 NE-10) by just one shot, 3-2. However, a header from Pereira from Jannice Sundqvist cross provided the insurance tally towards to the 2-0 win.
