Series History:

  • Adelphi (6-5-2, 3-3-1 NE10) moves to 10-6-6 against SCSU since August 2003. The last matchup was a 3-1 Panther victory in the NE10 Quarterfinal on September 12, 2025. Kayleigh Goodrich scored twice and Bethany Solari once in the win.

Highlights:

  • Kayleigh Goodrich recorded a team-high six shots, four on goal.
  • Maddy Catalanotti made three saves and earned her third clean sheet of the season.

How It Happened:

  • Three minutes later, Goodrich tried to put the Panthers on the board, but her shot was stopped.
  • The match continued to be a defensive battle, with each team fighting for possession.
  • The half ended with another save from Catalanotti and a chance from Bethany Solari, but the game remained scoreless.
  • In the opening minutes of the second half, SCSU had multiple attempts to take the lead, but all were unsuccessful.
  • Goodrich, looking for her 16th goal of the season, went on the attack to give the Panthers a chance to score, but none of her attempts found the back of the net.
  • Goodrich had the final chance in the dying seconds, but her shot was stopped by the goalkeeper, and the game ended 0-0.
