Garden City, N.Y.
- A total of 16 teams have advanced to the Division II Super Regional round after winning their respective Regionals, including the Adelphi University softball team. The eight super regions are set to take place May 17-18 to determine which eight teams will advance to Salem, Virginia.

The fifth seeded Panthers will face #3 Molloy in the East Super Regional, with play set to begin on Friday, May 17 at 3:00 pm on Janet L. Ficke Field. The second game of the best of three series is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 18 and the third game will be played at 3:30 pm on Saturday if necessary.

Adelphi and Molloy split their only meeting this season. The Lions picked up a win in game one of their March 5 meeting, 3-0 behind a shut out performance from Megan Butterworth, while the Panthers out hit Molloy to the tune of a 3-2 victory, thanks in part to a 2-3 day from Katie Andrews.

The Brown and Gold hold a 26-12 edge in the all-time series with Molloy.  The last time that the Panthers captured a regional championship and earned a spot in the College World Series was in 1988 at the Division I level, Adelphi has not won a Division II Regional Championship in program history.
