Millsboro, DE - The Adelphi University women's bowling team improved to a 25-20 overall record as they collected three wins in Baker play at the University of Maryland Eastern Shores Hawk Classic in Millsboro, Delaware.
The Panthers had no trouble out-running the Bisons of Howard University, picking up their first win of the day by 108 pins, 669-561. Showing no signs of slowing down, the Brown and Gold then dispatched the Gothic Knights of NJCU by 125 pins, 641-516.
The streak continued as the ladies rolled their highest series of the day, completing a 359-pin win 782-423 against Cheyney University. In their last matchup, at the Kutztown University Invitational in October, the AU Keglers picked up Head Coach
Robert Cincotta's 500th win with a 324-pin victory.
In the final match of the day, the Hornets of Delaware State University managed to sting the Panthers by 52 pins, 817-765. Overall, the squad finished the day in 11th place in a field of 18 teams.
