Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University volleyball team played host to the Dolphins of LeMoyne College on Sunday, October 20 in a Northeast-10 contest. The Panthers pulled out a 3-0 victory, 25-17, 25-22 and 25-21, improving to 12-8 overall and 4-1 in the conference.
Shelby Stoner paced the Panther offense with nine kills, while
Kaitlyn DeStefano,
Amanda Borges and
Colleen Raga chipped in eight apiece.
Katie Bryson had a game-high 36 set assists and two service errors and
Sierra Crook managed double digit digs again with 10.
Coach's Comments"We came out strong in games one and two and closed well in the third game," said Head Coach
Danielle MacKnight. "I was very pleased with our offensive production today. Any time you can get four players with eight kills or more, you're doing something right."
Up NextAdelphi returns to action on Tuesday, October 22 when they play host to Southern Connecticut State University at 7:00 pm in Garden City, New York.
