Manhasset, N.Y. - For the third year in a row the Adelphi University softball team volunteered their weekend to work alongside former Olympian, Jennie Finch, at Manhasset High School on September 21-22. Close to 300 kids gathered to receive skill instruction, which included outfield, infield, throwing, pitching and hitting.

Head Coach
Breanne Nasti was impressed with the weekend claiming, "Our players worked extremely hard to provide a positive and instructional experience for a large group of enthusiastic young athletes. They proudly represented our University and softball program, sharing their passion with those around them, something I and Jennie's staff were very impressed by."

Girls ranging in ages from 9 to 18 years old got to witness live hitting and pitching demonstrations from Finch and her staff. This was the second year in a row the Panthers were asked to participate and all enjoyed the experience of having the opportunity to interact with the former Olympians.
