Senior Taylor Wahrenbrock had the best chance for Saint Michael's on a turnaround shot off a penalty corner that went wide in the 54th minute. The Purple Knights were outshot by the Panthers 21-12 and trailed 10-4 in penalty corners.

Kristine Puzio stopped four shots to combine for the shutout. For Saint Michael's, senior goalie Jackie Stacey made seven saves in the first half, while freshmen Sarah Healey and Jackie Chisholm split goalie duties in the second half.
The Panthers travel to fourth-ranked Stonehill on Wednesday for a non-conference game at 4 p.m.
