James Panetta led the Panthers in their first meet of the 2012 season at the Brick Stone Invitational. He placed first in the DII & DIII race with a time of 16:06 over 5k. Panetta's efforts led his team to a first place finish, marking the fourth time in five years Adelphi has won this meet.
