Vreeland enjoyed a successful debut, helping Adelphi defeat Purchase 203-38 by picking up two individual victories in the 100 back (57.91) and 100 IM (59.54 events). He was also a part of victories in the 200 medley relay (1:39.33), 200 fly relay (2:15.82) and the 200 free relay (1:32.65). He was named the NE-10 Swimmer and Rookie of the Week on Monday.
