Wheeler was a part of three new school records for the swim team at the NE10 Championships, including two individual marks in the 200 and 100 breaststroke events.

With a time of 2:09.0 3 in the 200, Wheeler broke a 14-year school mark set by Charles Castillo in 2005 at the winter ECAC Championships. The 100-yard record was held by recent Adelphi grad JV Sarabia from 2017, also at the winter ECAC event.

Wheeler also joined Zack Vreeland, Daniel Lee and Eian McKeon to set a new program record of 1:35.31 in the 200 medley relay, which was set at the NE10 Championships in 2017.
