Carissa Grimaldi enters her fifth years as assistant coach of the Adelphi University cheerleading team, as well as Program Administrator. She was an Adelphi Cheerleader from 2008 to 2013, while also coaching children in tumbling, cheer and gymnastics during that time.
Carissa received her Master’s Degree in Psychology with a focus in Childhood Education from Adelphi University, as well as her advanced certificates in TESOL, bilingual education, and special education. Currently, she teaches first grade dual language in the south shore of Long Island. She truly enjoys assisting the cheer team and is proud to be a part of the growth and development of the Adelphi Cheerleading Program.
