Adelphi University Athletics

Umberto Piscitelli enters his first season on the sidelines for the Adelphi volleyball program in 2025. 

Since 2022, he has coached volleyball for athletes ages 12–18, where he plans and leads practices, designs skill-based drills, and mentors players both on and off the court. His coaching emphasizes technical training, motivation, and team culture, with a proven ability to prepare athletes for high-level competition.

As a former member of the St. Joseph’s University (Long Island) NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball Team, Umberto competed at regional and national levels, honing leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. 

Currently pursuing his Bachelor’s in Physical Education at Adelphi University (expected May 2028), Umberto combines academic knowledge with hands-on experience to inspire and develop student-athletes.
