Paige Mahon enters the 2026-27 academic year at Adelphi as a graduate assistant for the Campus Recreation department.
Mahon is a 2026 graduate of Adelphi University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management with a concentration in Youth Sports Programming and Recreational Sport Administration. During her time as a Panther, she was a member of the Dean's List and a recipient of the Dean's Award Scholarship all four years. Mahon was also named Recreation Most Valuable Player, an award presented by the Director of Recreation to the department's Employee of the Year.
Most recently, Mahon held several positions at Adelphi University, including serving as a Sport Club and Intramural Assistant, a Recreation Supervisor, and a member of the Campus Recreation staff.
As a Sport Club and Intramural Assistant, Mahon was responsible for gathering and organizing participant contact information, helping launch the AU Sport Clubs alumni relations program, and assisting with the planning, scheduling, and implementation of recreational programs. She also managed special events for the campus community, while reviewing and approving participant forms, and promoting the clubs through the department's Instagram account.
During her time as a Recreation Supervisor, Mahon supervised and mentored a team of more than 65 student staff members, providing training, scheduling, and general guidance. In addition to ensuring the safety of patrons using the recreation facilities, she coordinated daily facility operations and equipment setup, sold memberships, and assisted with promoting departmental programs through social media.
A native of New York, Mahon resides in Queens, New York.
