Owen Lucano enters his first season with the Adelphi University athletic training staff in 2024-25.
Lucano graduated from Stony Brook University with a 3.91 cumulative grade-point-average upon receiving his master's in athletic training in May of 2024. He has worked primarily with Pro Sports Performance Physical Therapy here in Garden City since 2020.
Most recently, he served as a student athletic trainer for the Adelphi University baseball team in the spring of 2024. He also worked with Long Island University's football, women's ice hockey, and women's rugby teams. He also spent the fall of 2022 working with Stony Brook men's lacrosse.
In May of 2020, Lucano graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Binghamton University, earning Dean's List honors on two occasions.
Lucano resides in Garden City, N.Y. and is certified by the American Heart Association as a basic life support provider.
