Nicholas Siano

Adelphi University Director of Athletics and Recreation Danny McCabe announced that Nicholas Siano (‘22, MS ‘23) was hired as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Siano will work alongside Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Keith Ferrara to enhance the overall strength and well-being of the student-athletes. He is BLS certified (June 2023) and CSCS Certified (Aug. 2023).

A native of Bayside, Siano was previously a graduate assistant under Ferrara in the spring of 2024. In addition, he worked as an intern at St. John’s University in Flushing under the supervision of the director of strength and conditioning. He supported the day-to-day activities of the Division I programs and collaborated with head and assistant coaches to support student-athlete excellence.

In his previous roles at Adelphi, Siano was an adjunct professor for the department of health sciences in the strength and conditioning programs teaching Introduction to Strength Training and Advanced Resistance Training.

Siano graduated from Adelphi University with a B.S. of Exercise Science in 2022 and receieved his masters' in Exercise Science the following year. A former student-athlete himself, Siano was a member of the baseball team donning the brown and gold from 2018 to 2022. In his final year of playing, he received the Northeast-10’s President's Award for Academic Excellence in the spring of 2022.

He currently serves as an instructor for the Adelphi Adult Fitness Program. There, he is responsible for managing the fitness program for senior members of the community, while closely monitoring clients recovering from cardiac events to ensure that safe protocols are followed.
