Morgan Koenig

Morgan Koenig enters her first year with the Adelphi University athletic training staff as an assistant athletic trainer in August of 2022, after previously serving as a graduate assistant in 2020-21.

Koenig received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from the State University of New York College at Cortland in May of 2020 and was a two-year member of the Athletic Training Club.

During her time with the Red Dragons, she worked with both the men’s and women’s lacrosse teams. She furthered her professional experience working with the Syracuse University men’s soccer team and Cortland High School’s athletic training staff. She conducted SCAT concussion baseline testing, taped injuries, performed clinical evaluations and created rehabilitation programs/circuits for student-athletes.

In May of 2019, Koenig attended Lobby Day in Albany, N.Y. to engage in conversation about passing the bill to clarify the New York State athletic training licensure requirements.

Koenig is an active member of the National Athletic Training Association.
