Katie Botterbusch enters her first season with the Adelphi University training staff in the 2024-25 school year.
Botterbusch received her Bachelor's of Science in exercise science from the University of Pittsburgh in May of 2020. She later received her master's degree in athletic training from Stony Brook University in May of 2022.
Most recently, she was serving in the same role at nearby Division I Long Island University, starting in August of 2022. There, she worked with mainly the women's volleyball and water polo teams. Botterbusch worked in concussion management, as well as the evaluation and rehabilitation of all other injuries during her time.
While completing her master's coursework at Stony Brook, Botterbusch worked directly with the Adelphi University field hockey team during the 2021 season.
Residing in Brooklyn, Botterbusch is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, as well as holding membership in the New York State Athletic Trainer's Association.
