Kasey Fagan Graham joins the Adelphi University softball coaching staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2027 season.
Graham comes to Garden City following nine seasons on the coaching staff at Liberty University, including the last five as associate head coach. During her time with the Flames, Graham worked primarily with the infield and pitching staff, while also assisting with hitting, film and player development.
During her tenure at Liberty, Graham helped guide the program to numerous conference championships and NCAA postseason appearances. Most recently, the Flames captured back-to-back Conference USA regular season and tournament championships in 2024 and 2025. Liberty advanced to an NCAA Regional Final in both 2023 and 2024 before capturing the College Station Regional Championship in 2025 and making the first NCAA Super Regional appearance in program history.
Graham and the Liberty staff were named the 2025 ATEC/NFCA Mid-Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year, marking the second regional coaching staff honor of her tenure after receiving the recognition in 2018. She also served as the primary coach for 2025 CUSA Pitcher of the Year Elena Escobar and 2021 Defensive Player of the Year Amber Bishop-Riley.
Prior to being elevated to associate head coach in 2022, Graham spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Liberty. During that stretch, the Flames captured the 2018 Big South regular season and tournament titles before winning back-to-back ASUN regular season and tournament championships in 2021 and 2022.
Graham also gained international coaching experience in 2019, serving as an assistant coach with the Chinese National Softball Team and the Beijing Eagles of National Pro Fastpitch. In that role, she assisted in all aspects of training as the national team prepared to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games.
Before joining Liberty, Graham began her collegiate coaching career as a graduate assistant at Auburn University from 2015-17. During her first season with the Tigers, Auburn won the SEC Tournament, NCAA Regional and Super Regional championships before finishing as the runner-up at the 2016 Women's College World Series. The Tigers returned to the postseason in 2017, capturing another NCAA Regional title and advancing to the Super Regional.
As a student-athlete, Graham competed at both the University of Florida and University of Arkansas. She began her collegiate career with the Gators, helping Florida reach the 2011 Women's College World Series championship series. She later transferred to Arkansas, where she served as team captain during the 2014-15 season and earned All-South Region honors in 2015.
Prior to her collegiate career, Graham was a standout at Dunnellon High School in Florida. She was twice named the Florida Gatorade Softball Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010 before earning National Gatorade Softball Player of the Year honors in 2010.
Graham earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas in 2015 and received her master's degree in adult education, with a minor in educational leadership, from Auburn University in 2017.
