Julia Lane enters the 2026-27 academic year at Adelphi as a graduate assistant for the Campus Recreation department.

Lane is a 2026 graduate of SUNY Cortland, earning a bachelor's degree in Inclusive Childhood Education with a concentration in Mathematics. During her time as a Red Dragon, she was named to both the Dean's List and President's List while also competing as a member of the university's Women's Club Soccer team. She received the Outstanding Student Employee Award in recognition of her hard work and dedication as a student employee.

Most recently, Lane worked in SUNY Cortland's Intramural Sports program as an event manager and sports official. Her additional work experience includes serving as a Camp staff member, a teacher's aide, a server and hostess, and a soccer referee.

As an event manager at SUNY Cortland, Lane helped enhance the participant experience by coordinating event logistics to ensure the smooth operation of intramural sports competitions. She trained fellow students to become intramural sports officials, and oversaw on-campus sporting events in coordination with event planning staff. She was also responsible for hiring new officials each semester, including reviewing applications and assisting with the interview process.

Lane currently resides in Oceanside, New York.
