Adelphi University Athletics

John O’Donoghue joins the Adelphi University volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2026 season, bringing extensive collegiate and club coaching experience to the Panthers.

O’Donoghue most recently served as the head women’s volleyball coach at SUNY Maritime, where he led the program while overseeing recruiting, scheduling, training and day-to-day program operations. He has also served as head coach and recruiting director for Club Ace Long Island since 2019, developing student-athletes and building relationships with college coaches and recruits throughout the recruiting process.

O’Donoghue is a proud Adelphi alumnus, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from the University in December 2016.
