Adelphi University Athletics

Despina “Debbie” Boudouris joins the Adelphi University volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2026 season, bringing collegiate playing experience and a strong background in player development to the Panthers.

Boudouris comes to Adelphi after four seasons as a member of the Queens College Division II volleyball team from 2021-24. A team captain during her final two seasons, she earned Second-Team All-Conference honors in consecutive seasons and was named Most Valuable Player at the program’s annual athletics end-of-year awards. She finished her Queens College career ranked third all-time in assists.

In addition to her collegiate playing career, Boudouris has coached with Sportime Volleyball Club since 2021, working with athletes ages 16-18 to develop technical skills, game strategies and team dynamics. 

A graduate of Queens College, Boudouris earned bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Sociology, along with a minor in Modern Greek, graduating cum laude and earning Dean’s List recognition. She was also an active member of the Queens College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, serving as female liaison on the executive board during her senior year.
