Ashley Proto joins campus recreation for the 2024-25 year as a graduate assistant for recreational fitness and staff development.

Proto is a 2023 graduate here at Adelphi University with a bachelor’s of arts degree in psychology. During her time as an undergrad, she served as a supervisor within the campus recreation office starting from Spring 2022. Her duties including managing facilities on opening and closing, processing memberships, overseeing staff, handling equipment, etc. 

Starting in her last semester in Spring of 2023, Proto began working in the University's Academic Coaching Center as an academic coach. She would work with students on academic probation, building individualized programs to fit each students' academic concerns to bring them back to good standing. 

Proto will be studying to get her Masters in School Psychology in May of 2026.
