Alexandra Campbell is Head Cheerleading Coach and Panther Mascot Coordinator at Adelphi University. Coach Campbell's dedication to the Adelphi community began when she was an undergraduate student. Among her campus involvement, she was captain of the AU Cheerleading and Dance Team. She graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and Master's degree in Special Education and TESOL. As a leader, Campbell wears many hats; she is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, a team builder, a mentor, and a special education teacher. Coach Campbell has been directing the Adelphi cheerleading program since the late 90's. Through her talent, hard work and commitment, she has played a major role in the overall development of the program. In addition to coaching a collegiate team,
Coach Campbell also enjoys hosting youth clinics for elementary and high school groups in New York City and on Long Island. Her passion for teaching and working with others motivates her to continue to do what she does. Coach Campbell consistently sets goals to move the competitive AU Cheerleading Team forward. For the past two years, she has led her team to UCA College Nationals and looks forward to more competitions in the future.
