2014: Played 112 sets across all 31 matches…Led the team and finished seventh in the conference in kills (312)…Led the conference in total blocks (144) and attacking percentage (.368)…First on the team and second in the conference in total points (429)…Seventh in the nation in blocks-per-set (1.29)…Recorded a season-best 16 kills twice…Had 10 total blocks vs. Le Moyne (9/20)…Season-best four solo blocks vs. Southern New Hampshire (10/25).
2013: Participated in all 32 matches, taking the court for 122 sets…led the team in kills (372), kills per set (3.05), attack percentage (.353), total blocks (132), block assists (97) and solo blocks (35)…also chipped in 14 service aces and 42 digs…recorded a career-high 21 kills twice against Franklin Pierce (11/1, 11/19)…had nine blocks in a win over Southern New Hampshire on November 2.
2012: Played in 139 sets and 37 matches...led team in kills (376) and solo blocks (50), block assists (135) and total blocks (185) and ranked second in kills per set (2.71)...led conference in blocks and blocks per set (1.33), and ranked fifth in kills...notched double-digt kills in 19 matches...recorded season high 16 kills in 3-2 win against NYIT (9/27)...hit .297 on the year to lead team and hit game-high .800 in 3-0 win against Bentley (10/26).
2011: Played in 98 sets and 30 matches ... ranked fourth on team with 191 kills ... led team with 21 solo blocks, 83 block assists and 104 total blocks ... finished second in the NE-10 and first among freshmen in block assists, third in NE-10 and first among rookies in total blocks, and second among NE-10 freshmen in solo blocks ... had season-high 11 kills three times.
At Farmingdale High School: Participated in three years of volleyball...three-time all conference award winner and two-time all-county selection...earned all-tournament honors as a senior along with the Best Blocker award at the Capitol Hill Classic...a member of Key Club and editor of the school yearbook.
Personal: Daughter of Kenneth and Carol DeStefano...majoring in biology...has two siblings, Michele and Joseph.
