Brianna Popham

Brianna Popham enters her first season as assistant coach for the volleyball team. She joins the staff after completing her undergrad at Adelphi in 2013. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Sport Management. 

Her responsibilities include working with defensive players during practice and games, assisting in recruiting process of prospective student-athletes and scheduling. 

While working towards her dual-major degree, Popham was a four-year member of the volleyball team at Adelphi. As a junior, she helped the team captured the program's first Northeast-10 Championship title. She also had a hand in the team's four NCAA tournament berths as well as two NCAA East Regional Semi-final finishes. 

In her final year as a Panther, Popham was awarded the National Student Athlete "Presidential" Award, which is given to the top female athlete regarding athletic and academic achievements as well as community involvement. She also received the Dean's award for Physical Education, which is given to the student with top academic acheivements for the graduating class in Physical Education. 

Popham is pursuing her master's degree in Sports Management with a specialization in sport-based youth development. She currently resides in Franklin Square, N.Y.
