Ajsha Mekulovic enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Adelphi University volleyball team in 2016 after donning the Brown and Gold for four years.
A member of the Adelphi back row for four seasons, Mekulovic stepped on the court for the Panthers for 120 matches and a total of 385 sets. Over the course of her career, she helped the Panthers to four NCAA East Region Tournament appearances and a pair of Northeast-10 Championship crowns, in 2014 and 2015.
A native of Lindenhurst, N.Y., Mekulovic graduated from Adelphi in May of 2016 with a degree in psychology and a minor in human resource management.Â
