Tori Flaherty

Tori Flaherty

After wrapping up a year on the pitch with the Panthers, Tori Flaherty took to the sidelines as an assistant coach with the Adelphi women's soccer team in 2020.

In her 2019 campaign at Adelphi, Flaherty helped lead a defensive unit that let up the fewest goals of any team in the NE10. She also took corner kicks for the Panthers and was credited with two assists on the season -- one of which was the assist on a game-winner in a 1-0 win over Franklin Pierce.

Flaherty was named to the NE10 All-Conference Second Team and ECAC Division II All-Star roster, and twice earned a spot on the NE10 Academic Honor Roll for her exceptional work in the classroom.

Flaherty came over to Adelphi from Division I Marist College, where she appeared in 55 career games across three seasons with the Red Foxes and collected MAAC All-Rookie honors as a freshman.

Flaherty recently wrapped up her master's degree in Education from Adelphi and is set to teach nearby at Garden City High School.
