Christine Conway joins the Adelphi Women's Soccer coaching staff after an impressive four-year career in goal for the Panthers. Conway logged over 6988:02 minutes in the net during her time at Adelphi and second all-time in career wins (54) and shutouts (29) and first in single-season wins (20). This year marks her third year with the Panthers as a coach.
She is a three-time All-ECC selection and has helped the Panthers to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a 2004 National runner-up title. In 2004, Conway recorded a career best eight saves in the NCAA Championship game against Metro State. She totaled 22 saves throughout the tournament for a 1.34 GAA.
Conway attended Southside High School wehre she helped her team to consecutive state championships. In addition to soccer, she also lettered in softball and basketball.
Conway, who currently resides in Rockville Centre, N.Y., is pursing a graduate degree in physical education at Adelphi.
