Brianne McDonnell enters her first season as an assistant coach after a stellar career as a member of the Adelphi University women's soccer team.
McDonnell led the Panthers to an 8-8-1 finish in 2010, and tallied five goals and five assists to earn a slew of honors and accolades. She was named to the 2010 NSCAA/Performance Subaru NCAA Division II All-East Region Second Team, the Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team, and was selected for the NE-10 Fall All-Academic Team in 2009 and 2010.
McDonnell wrote herself into the Adelphi record books, ranking eighth all time with 77 career points. Her 21 career assists ranks her third in program history, while her 28 goals places her ninth. McDonnell is second with 14 career game winning goals, and is tied for the best all-time single season mark with six game winners in 2008.
