2008-09: Set a personal best in the 400H at the UPenn meet (4/4) with a time of 58.39...placed fourth in the 400H at the outdoor CTC championships (4/18) to earn All-Conference honors...stopped the clock at 51.76 in the open 400 at the NYU Fastrack meet (2/27)...part of the 3:16.76 4x400 that won the CTC division at PENN Relays (4/25)...was on the indoor 4x400 and 4x200 relay teams that placed third at the indoor CTC championships and 4x400 relay that placed second outdoors.
At Cornwall Central High School: Participated in four years of cross-country and track and field...competed in regionals as a sophomore in the 4x800 meter relay and as a junior in the 400...district champion and state qualifier in the 400 junior year...two-time state qualifier as a senior, earning trips in the 300 meter dash (indoors) and the 200 meter dash (outdoors)...placed fifth in the 400 at Eastern States as a senior and competed at the National Scholastic Indoor Championship meet in the 4x800 meter relay...two-time coaches award winner, named cross-country MVP sophomore year and was named a super sophomore.
Personal: Son of Herman Sturdivant - Miller and Dawn Coleman...majoring in english with a concentration in creative writing...has four sisters, Michelle, Melissa, Marie and Tori and two brothers, Keith and Kashawn...enjoys writing and playing video games in free time and would like to be an author.
