Biography

Honors and Awards: Named to the All-NE-10 Second-Team (2011)...earned Division II Women's Lacrosse NCAA Elite 88 Award (2011)...named All-NE-10 First-Team (2010)...named NE-10 Defensive Player of the Year (2010)...ECAC Division II First-Team All-Star (2010)...IWLCA First-Team All-North Region (2010)...IWLCA First-Team All-American (2010)...IWLCA Division II Defender of the Year (2010)...named to the NE-10 Spring Academic All-Conference team (2010).

2011: Started and played in all 20 games...scored one goal...picked up 41 ground balls and added four draw controls...finished third on the team with 20 caused turnovers...picked up a season-high seven ground balls along with a season-high three caused turnovers against New Haven (4/27).

2010: Started and played in all 20 games...led the team in ground balls (62) and caused turnovers (38)...added five draw controls...recorded one goal and one assist...her assist came in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Stonehill (5/15)...picked up a season-high seven ground balls against St. Anselm (4/17)...caused a season-high six turnovers twice (4/17 and 5/8).

At Mount St. Mary's University: Started three games as a freshman...recorded 16 ground balls, three draw controls, and caused seven turnovers...started in 13 games as a sophomore...had 23 ground balls, 11 draw controls, and 11 caused turnovers...was on the Dean's List all four semesters.

At St. Anthony's High School: Three-year starter for the varsity lacrosse team and was a three-year member of the varsity basketball team...won the CHSAA Championship as a sophomore and junior...named Defensive MVP as a junior...was named captain of the team as a senior...named All-League, Defensive MVP, and won the D-II School Girls National Tournament as a senior...also won the Tenety Scholar Athlete Award...member of the National Honor Society...won the Don Scotus Award four years in a row.

Personal: Daughter of Marie and Timothy Jones...born December 21...has two brothers, Colin and Conor...Colin played football at SUNY Cortland...majoring in history with future plans of being a special education teacher and a secondary teacher in history.
