On November 19, Adelphi University and Head Coach Joe Spallina announced the addition of Tara Grodotzke '07 to the women's lacrosse coaching staff.
Grodtozke spent four years in a Panther uniform from 2004-2007 and was a member of both NCAA Division II Championship teams. A starting defender for the Panthers, Grodotzke consistently led the team in draw controls and ground balls. She earned ECAC All-Star honors in 2004 and was named a second team All-ECC selection in 2006. In 2007, she was named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
A native of Rocky Point, New York, Grodotzke played under Coach Spallina, earning all-league and all-tournament honors.
Grodotzke was a two-sport athlete for Panthers, lettering in women's soccer. She graduated from Adelphi in 2007 with a math degree.
