Kerry Stoothoff

Kerry Stoothoff is in her third year as an Assistant Coach with the Adelphi University women's lacrosse program. She helped the Panthers to the programs sixth and seventh NCAA Division II National Championships in 2014 and 2015.

Stoothoff's primary responsibilities are working with the goalies and the defense and she proved more then up to the task. Stoothoof molded Taylor Hayes into the Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of The Year during 2014 in addition to Hayes earning the MVP at the 2015 NCAA Championship.

Stoothoff was a four-year letter winner for Loyola College, making 62 starts and totaling 3497 minutes in goal for for the Greyhounds. She was named the team's starting goalie as a sophomore and finished her career fifth on the all-time saves list with 528 total stops.  She also left Loyola with a career .485 save percentage and a goals against average of 9.61, helping the Greyhounds amass an overall record of 53-22.
 
Over the course of her career, Stoothoff garnered a number of awards including Loyola’s MVP in 2010 and the Unsung Hero Award in 2012.  She was an All-Big East selection in both 2011 and 2012 and led the Greyhounds to consecutive Big East Championships in those same seasons, while earning All-Tournament team honors.

Stoothoff was also awarded Big East Tournament Most Outstanding Player status in 2011 and 2012, becoming the only player in the history of the Big East to win consecutive MVPs. Her outstanding play in those seasons also earned her inclusion on the IWLCA Division I Mid-Atlantic All-Region team.
 
A Tewaaraton watch list selection in 2011 and 2012, Stoothoff earned nomination to the Award in 2011, one of 25 individuals in the country to be nominated. She was also named Nike National Player of the Week May 8, 2012, Women’s Lax.com National Division Player of the Week May 14, 2012 and the Baltimore Sun’s Women’s Player of the Week May 12, 2011 and May 17, 2012. She concluded her collegiate career by participating in the IWLCA Division 1 North-South All-Star Game in 2012.
