Katelyn Catanese

Katelyn Catanese is entering her first season with the Adelphi University women’s lacrosse program. Her responsibilities will be assigned by head coach, Rob Grella.
 
Catanese graduated from Mount St. Mary’s in 2010 with a degree in sport management after spending four season as a member of the women’s lacrosse team. She left the program with her name in the record books, finishing her career second in career goals (170), points (195) and third in draw controls with 119.
 
In addition, Catanese set a program and Northeast Conference record for goals in a season with 64 and was awarded the Kolon award. She was also named an All-NEC First-Team performer three times in her career, becoming the first player in program history to accomplish that feat and competed in the Under Armour North/South All-Star game.
 
Upon graduation Catanese gained valuable coaching experience as St. Johns Prospect Hall in Frederick, Maryland. She helped the program to back-to-back class C Championships.
